  • Desktop: Computer with a separate tower and monitor that sits on your desk.
  • Laptop: Portable computer that folds closed and can be used anywhere.
  • All-In-One: Computer where everything is built into the monitor. No separate tower needed.

  • What’s the difference between the tiers?

    Each tier is based on speed and power:

    • Tier 1 (Basic Use): Great for web browsing, email, and streaming.
    • Tier 2 (Everyday Use): Handles multitasking, schoolwork, and office apps easily.
    • Tier 3 (Power Use): Best for gaming, photo/video editing, and heavy multitasking.

  • What brand will I get?

    We use top business-grade brands like Dell, HP, or Lenovo. The exact model may vary, but all meet or exceed the listed specs.

  • Does it include a monitor or keyboard?

    Not by default but you can add them. You can also any existing monitor, keyboard, or mouse you already have.

  • How big are the computers?

    Most are small or midsize towers that fit easily on or under a desk. Exact dimensions vary slightly by model.

  • Is Windows included?

    Yes. Every computer comes with Windows 11 pre-installed and ready to use.

  • Do I need antivirus?

    Windows includes basic protection, but we recommend adding Emsisoft EDR or Huntress EDR for stronger security.

  • What is “TopCity Backup”?

    It automatically saves copies of your important files online, so you can recover them if your computer fails or gets infected.

  • Do you offer an IT Plan?

    Yes, visit our IT Plans page for more details on our optional support plans.

  • Is there a warranty?

    Yes. Every computer includes a 3-year warranty covering hardware defects.

  • Is data transfer included?

    Yes. We’ll back up your files and move your data to your new computer at no extra cost. That includes documents, photos, and personal files. (Programs and passwords may need to be reinstalled or re-entered manually.)
